The singer, musician, and composer Paulo de Carvalho was honoured last night with the prestigious Merit and Excellence Award, at the 28th edition of the Globos de Ouro, (Golden Globes), in recognition of his vast and influential artistic trajectory in Portuguese music.
This award represents not only the recognition of an extraordinary journey but also a tribute to the legacy of an artist who, with his music, helped tell the story of Portugal.
This is undoubtedly a significant year for the artist, who will end 2024 with two major concerts, in Porto at the Casa da Música on December 28th, and in Lisbon at the CCB on December 29th.
Paulo de Carvalho is also preparing to embark on a new and exciting tour in 2025: “And After the Goodbye? Telling Songs”. It promises – among stories, confidences, and songs – a journey through the classics that marked his career and the lives of many fans.
