On the second day of Santa Casa Portugal ao vivo, it was the turn of another big name of Portuguese music to take the stage, Paulo Gonzo and his band, offered the audience a night full of good music, themes from their latest album, “Essencial ”, but also its most well-known themes.
After the Jorge Palma, the Santa Casa Portugal ao Vivo Festival presented Paulo Gonzo in another excellent production by Every thing is new in partnership with Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa, the Lisbon City Council, EGEAC and the Porto City Council, made this initiative possible, which aims to support culture and its artists and show again that culture is possible to continue to exist, despite the pandemic.

Despite not having a full room, the singer delighted whoever was present, even joked about it, “this to me seems like thousands live” he said regretting that some were afraid to come but dedicating the concert to those too.
He quickly managed to interact with the audience, as he so well knows, invited everyone to clap and sing despite everyone having a mask.
It was with the theme “Noite Das Sete Colinas” that the concert started, and soon his hoarse, warm, unmistakable voice was enough to raise many of the fans of the chair. But also “Sei de Um Lugar”, “Falamos Depois”, “Quem era” from his new album “Essencial”, “Fico até Adormeceres” and his great success “Sei-te de cor” were some of the themes heard in Campo Pequeno.
The concert also had a less common moment, a marriage proposal, which Paulo Gonzo with his usual sympathy gave a special touch.
Paulo Gonzo also performed other great songs, such as “Só” by Jorge Palma, “Jardins Proibidos”, “How Do You Stop”, “Dei-te Quase Tudo” “So do I” and in homage to Sean Connery, “Georgia“.
