Pedro da Linha launches new EP DICAS
Pedro da Linha, an artist known for blending urban and electronic rhythms, returns to original releases with a new EP, DICAS, released today under the Enchufada label.
DICAS includes four collaborative tracks that cross-referenced continents to find a common sonic space among them. They include the Spanish artists La Pili and Dianka, the Brazilian MU540, and long-time partner Branko, who are part of this EP.
In Pedro da Linha’s words, “2024 has been a very good year, I have returned to releasing music under my name while also collaborating with artists who mean a lot to me. DICAS arises in this context; it is an EP for the dance floor, and as such, I decided that – symbolically – I would build these songs in pairs, just like dancing. Mu540, Lapili, Branko, and Dianka have in common producers whom I admire for the sensitivity they bring to their works. DICAS is for dancing in pairs.”
DICAS is also a return, as the artist comes back to Enchufada, the major home of national dance music, which is responsible for releasing this EP. It is now available on all digital platforms.
The first live presentation of DICAS takes place this Saturday, November 9, at Musicbox in Lisbon, at another Festa Arrebita, where Pedro da Linha will play with Wost, a producer with whom he released a song in September (‘BADDDMANNN’), which was considered by Mixmag magazine as one of the best club tracks of the year. This new EP closes a year of various new original releases from Pedro da Linha, songs where the artist had the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as The Legendary Tigerman, Wost, Lucy Val, and Dino D’Santiago, in tracks like “Oji é Oji,” “Aqui Se Faz, Aqui Se Paga,” among others.
Still, in 2024, Pedro da Linha, who also has extensive work as a DJ, introduced us to an EP of remixes of songs previously released by artists such as Arca, Ana Lua Caiano, and Judeline.

About Pedro da Linha
Originally from Damaia, Pedro da Linha has established himself as one of the most important names in the renewal of national music. As a producer and songwriter, he was responsible for the latest works of Ana Moura, Eu.Clides, among others.
As a DJ, he is a descendant of the golden age of national clubbing, where Principe Discos and Enchufada are central to interpreting and shaping various new beats in the sound of Lisbon.
A regular collaborator at Musicbox Lisboa, he was responsible for the debut in the city of various names from the forefront of international clubbing, such as Nick Leon, MJ Nebreda, Merca Bae, or INVT, among others.
This 2024 marks Pedro da Linha’s return to authorial music, with the release of several singles and the EP “DICAS.”
Pedro da Linha is the ambassador of a future that has already begun to be written.
