On November 11th, presentation concert at Capitólio (Lisbon)

Armed with a disarming sensibility, Pedro de Tróia takes to the Capitol stage on November 11, accompanied by João Eleutério, Rita Laranjeira, Silas Ferreira and Tomás Branco.
This long-awaited return will be further enhanced by the special appearance of Rui Reininho, on an expectedly luminous night.
After making known the singles “Gosto Tanto de Ti“, “Carrossel” (with Rui Reininho) and “Namorada” (released last Friday), Pedro de Tróia edits his new album “Tinha de Ser Assim” .
Frontman of Capitães da Areia, edited in 2020 his debut solo album-“Depois Logo Se Vê”-which, in his words, “was just a preface”, of the book that was about to open. In an alignment that exudes the truth, with all the good, bad and uncomfortable that this will have implied, the singles “Embaraçado“, “Salvadora” and “Nunca Falo Demais” were highlighted.
Since the release of the album was strongly affected (especially live) by the pandemic, which invaded us at the same time, it was no reason for Pedro de Tróia to stop rolling up his sleeves and dedicating himself to what he knows how to do best: writing songs. And the result is in sight, with the new album “Tinha de Ser Assim”, produced by Tiago Brito.
The talents of Catarina Lynce, Rita Laranjeira, Silas Ferreira, Tomás Branco and Rui Reininho, with whom Pedro de Tróia sings in “Carrossel”, in a meeting illustrated by Silas Ferreira, also contributed to the 8 songs on the disc. 2nd single from “Tinha de Ser Assim”.
Recorded by Tiago Brito, Bernardo Barata and João Moreira, “Tinha de Ser Assim” featured a mixture of Artur David and mastering by Ars Lindberg. All the graphic work was in charge of Silas Ferreira and the album is edited by Azul de Tróia, with the support of the Cultural Fund of the Portuguese Society of Authors and of the Portuguese Republic – Ministry of Culture.
