Pedro e os Lobos returns to the stage on April 1st in Almada at Cine-Incrível.
Pedro Galhoz, project leader, tells us that “… we have a special affection for Almada, we have many friends who ask us when we play in Almada and we decided to schedule this concert in the form of a reunion with our roots and repay the affection that many given to us during the pandemic.”
We remember that, as Pedro Galhoz tells us, “Pedro e os Lobos started out as an author’s project, however, Nelson and Rui, we have our own chemistry to work with, we like the same things and we grew up listening to many times the same bands, over time we’ve been sculpting the personality that Pedro e os Lobos has today, as long as we put up with it, it’ll be like this, then we’ll see!”
Pedro Galhoz tells us that “we are finalizing a new album, it has been working in my home studio and also in the studio of our drummer Rui Freire (Tutxi), basically we divide the production, then Nelson joins us to record voices and discuss some production and composition ideas. The mixes were once again made by master João Martins at Ponto Zurca studio in Almada, João is an old friend, he had already mixed the last album “Depois da storm” and we decided to go back to working with him, he’s a kind of tuga Rick Rubin.”
