The Capitólio received Pedro Gonçalves on a very special night, among friends, family and fans, presented his first album Alma Gemea, released in March 2024, and showed all his talent, sympathy and charisma to a crowded room that sang with him, from beginning to end.
Very cherished by all who filled the Capitólio, the musician, presented in Lisbon his album Alma Gémea, his first album, which is the culmination of 12 years of work.
The young composer who started making songs in the room, but always hoping one day to step on a big stage, mentioned Pedro, and to show off his work. This debut album, a vent, a love story without beginning and endless, the search for the soul mate, the happiness of a reason to live.
His musical career began with the publication of covers on YouTube, then went through digital platforms, stage and television conquering more and more fans with his singles “Para Além de Ti” and “Alma Gémea”.
In 2015 he reached second place in The Voice Portugal, and participated in the Song Festival twice in 2017, as an interpreter of the theme “Don’t Walk Away”, composed by João Pedro Coimbra, and in 2021, as a composer and interpreter of “Não Vou Ficar”.
Outro marco no seu percurso foi “Beija-me”, ao lado David Carreira a que junta agora “Culpa-me a mim” com Susana Félix, que esteve presente no concerto, mas também marcaram presença em palco, Knox, que abriu o concerto, Camila Ribau, Catarina Silva, Camila, Talentos sem Fronteiras e o Coimbra Gospel Choir, numa noite cheia de talento, em que Pedro aproveitou para levantar o véu sobre o seu segundo álbum, a lançar brevemente.
