For the first time in Portugal, the show that consecutively sold out the mythical “La Cigale” theater in Paris, “Rock My Movie” – the greatest themes of cinema in rock version.
Rock My Movie, is a musical show that is an invitation to re-discover the greatest musical successes of cinema, in unpublished rock versions.
Get ready for an immersive experience in the heart of a film set: more than a concert, Rock My Movie is a real show. It’s a concept for the whole family and several generations of moviegoers; rockers, geeks, pirates, wizards, adventurers, and aliens!
The eight artists on stage will make you relive the iconic themes of the soundtracks of your life: Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, James Bond, E.T., etc. ….Like you’ve never heard them before!
Florian Bonne, who has always been in love with film music (J. Williams, H. Zimmer, D. Elfman, V. Cosma) is the creator of the show, which featured music director Leo Godart and Jean-Luc Borras in the staging.
“I tried to create a great family show to pay homage to the seventh art. We conceived Rock My Movie as a meeting place between two universes: Cinema, through its music, and Rock. More than a simple concert, Rock My Movie is an experience that allows audiences to rediscover iconic themes from cult films and blockbusters.
On the other hand, with the scenography, we tried to bring some lightness to a show that is musically intense. The artists will present themselves with emotion, poetry, and humor in the theatrical pauses throughout the show.” Explains Florian.
A unique scenographic concept in Portugal, which invites the spectator to enter the world of the seventh art in three different opportunities, from North to South of the country: 4 de Maio at Hardclub, in Porto, 5 de Maio at Casa das Virtudes, in Faro and May 6th in Lisbon, at Lisboa ao vivo.
