Picas presents documentary “Your tattoos on my fingertips reveal secrets to me”
The short documentary “Your Tattoos on the tips of my fingers reveal secrets to me”, directed by Afonso Batista, is available for viewing.
The film premiered at Teatro da Luz, on January 25th, when the music video for Tatuagens, the first chapter of a trilogy of Picas singles, was also seen for the first time.
Your tattoos on my fingertips reveal secrets to me was inspired by the singer-songwriter’s new single, featuring testimonies from twelve people who revealed the story behind their tattoos. Picas highlights that, as the skin is the largest organ in the human body, it is also “a vast canvas on which records and memories are imprinted” and “each body is a work of art” so “each tattoo tells its own story.”
Tatuagens is the first advance in a trilogy that tells the same love story. The song’s indie-pop approach explores the combination of an acoustic and electronic universe, resulting in a nostalgic and enigmatic atmosphere.
Picas has promised the release of the two songs that complete the plot soon. By the end of the year, the first album of originals by a distinguished artist in the Portuguese pop scene should be released.
