The exceptionally versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer, PJ Morton announces his debut concert in Portugal on November 18th at Capitólio, Lisbon.
The following day, the American artist will perform at the new soul festival in Famalicão, to be announced soon.
Known for R&B, gospel, and pop albums, as well as extensive studio work for other artists, PJ Morton introduced himself to the music industry with albums that spanned musical genres. Nominated for 16 Grammys, the artist won awards such as Best Gospel Album with ‘Gospel According to PJ’: ‘From the Songbook of PJ Morton’, Best R&B Album with Gumbo, and Album of the Year with ‘We Are’.
PJ Morton now arrives in Portugal to present his latest work ‘Watch The Sun‘, his first solo album in two years. It’s the voluptuous song arrangements and reflective lyricism of gospel music that Morton draws from working on his solo projects, of which there are now 10. ‘Watch The Sun’ captures both incredibly.
