The nominees for the 2023 GRAMMY edition were announced yesterday and PJ Morton is among the finalists in three categories: Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song and Best Performance/Gospel Song.
The artist will debut live on national soil on the 18th of November at Capitólio, in Lisbon, and on the 19th of November at the Casa das Artes in Famalicão.
PJ Morton is already a veteran of the most relevant music awards worldwide: this is his 16th nomination, having already won six statuettes, including Album of the Year. This year, the artist released his eighth studio album, Watch The Sun, which earned him a nomination for Best R&B Album. Please Don’t Walk Away, a song from the disc, is nominated for Best R&B Song and The Better Benediction was the song that earned him the nomination in the category of Best Performance / Gospel Song.
The 65th edition of the GRAMMY Awards will take place on the 5th of February 2023. Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, Harry Styles and PJ Morton are some of the repeaters nominated for the biggest awards in international music.
