It will be at the end of the year that the two new consoles of Sony and Microsoft – the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X – will arrive on the market and it seems that the two companies may have different strategies regarding the games that will accompany the launch of both proposals.
So says Kotaku journalist Jason Schreier, who in one of the latest podcast episodes on the site claims that PlayStation 5 release games will be “PS5 only,” meaning they won’t be on any other console. Not even on PlayStation 4.
Microsoft’s strategy appears to be different with regard to the Xbox Series X, which will look to bet on broader releases. Halo Infinite, for example, will be available on Xbox One in addition to the Xbox Series X.
