Plutónio at the Santa Casa ao Vivo “20 20 Cultura para todos”, in Campo Pequeno
Last Sunday, the 8th of November, the rapper Plutónio gave an energetic concert at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, at the Santa Casa ao Vivo festival, with the motto “20 20 Cultura para todos” (“20 20 Culture for all”).
Plutonio is a rapper from Bairro da Cruz Vermelha, in Cascais, who represents “real gangsta rap” and R&B in Portugal. His versatility makes him considered one of the greatest Portuguese talents today. In 2013 he released his debut album “Histórias da Minha Life” and in 2015 he joined Bridgetown and released the album “Preto e Vermelho” (2016).
After the success of the singles “Não Vales Nada”, “3AM” and the participation in “Rain” with Mishlawi and Richie Campbell and “Nunca Pares” with Slow J and Papillon, Plutónio released, with DJ Dadda, the giant hit “Cafeína”, which has already surpassed 18 million views and reached the triple-platinum award. At the end of 2019 the third album “Sacrifice: Blood, Tears & Sweat” was released with songs like “Meu Deus”, “1 de Abril”, “Lucy Lucy” and “Vergonha na Cara”, which we all know by heart.
In a concert full of energy, good vibes and a scenario that represented the Bairro da Cruz Vermelha, where Plutónio grew up, we could hear themes like “3AM”, “Meu Deus”, “Não Vales Nada”, “Última Vez”, “Damas e Dilemas”, “Vergonha na Cara”, “Somos Iguais” and “Cafeína”.
“Thank you to everyone who came today. It is important for culture to move forward, it is important for musicians and technicians to work, and it is important to leave our homes and, little by little, go back to normal life, within the security measures, and this is what we are doing here today, this is what this concept represents“, thanked the artist.
