The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) and the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil, one of the 100 most reputable universities in the world, are once again partners in the organization of CONNECTA, an international scientific event in the field of Management, in online format, which seeks to put researchers from various universities in the world in contact.
After the launch in Portugal, in 2019, at the Superior School of Business Sciences (ESCE/IPS), the two higher education institutions expanded their network of partners to three continents (Europe, Africa and South America) and launched into one third edition that will take place between the next 10th and 12th and November.
Paper submissions are open until the 25th of July, and can be done in Portuguese or English through the event’s official page.
As part of SemeAD 2021, a congress in the field of Management that has more than 2,000 participants annually and a history of more than 20 years at USP, CONNECTA seeks to create a specific space for teachers, providing the sharing of experiences and work of research carried out, as well as the development of partnerships for international research projects (CONNECTA Research) and/or pedagogical projects (CONNECTA Teaching). Another advantage of participating in the event is the possibility of publishing articles in the minutes and top international journals, such as the “California Management Review”, from the University of Berkeley.
With the advantage of allowing “internationalization at home”, CONNECTA is a meeting focused on strengthening a worldwide network of researchers, professors and students in the field of Management, based on the sharing of experiences, the development of joint projects and the creation of conditions to enter into new partnerships.
