Polytechnic of Setúbal hosts exhibition “Arte no Desporto”
The Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (IPS) will host the opening ceremony of the collective exhibition “Arte no Desporto”, an initiative of ARTISET – Association of Plastic Artists of Setúbal, inspired by the universe of the Olympic Games, and in collaboration, tomorrow, Thursday with the Olympic Academy of Portugal (AOP).
The exhibition will be open until May 28, in three spaces on the IPS Setúbal campus – ESCE/ESS/ESTSetúbal libraries and ESE atrium – counting on its opening, from 11 am, with the presence of the president of AOP, Tiago Viegas, of the councilor Pedro Pina, of the Setúbal City Council, and of the president of ARTISET, Margarida Rodrigues.
Bringing together the works of about 40 visual artists from Setúbal, the itinerant exhibition, which has its starting point at IPS, is one of the initiatives that make up the Olympic Cultural Program 2020-2021, providing for three more stops until October, in Figueira da Foz, again in Setúbal (Casa da Cultura) and Oeiras.
