POPTOP Festival Lisboa starts today
the biggest event of gaming experiences and pop culture with the Piaget Institute’s seal ends on Sunday
The Piaget Institute is associated with POPTOP Festival Lisboa, which takes place between today and Sunday at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion and will bring to the city three unforgettable days of pop culture, video games, virtual reality, cosplay and electronic music, among many other experiences.
The Piaget Stage will present debates, lectures, conversations and masterclasses with the country’s largest streamers and e-sports teams, as well as many other personalities related to the industry and the gaming universe.
With the motto “Piaget Stage: where ideas transform passions”, the goal is to show what moves creative minds and learn about the future of gaming, science and technology, while discussing health in technology, the new opportunities created by the video game industry, traditional sports vs. electronic sports, combating social exclusion, ecology, how to integrate studies in the digital area, etc.
The event, organized by Mega Strike and the Media Capital group, opens at 10 am every day and closes at 4 am with a show that will continue into the night tomorrow; at 8 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday.
It should also be noted that the central stage will host major e-sports finals, interactive quizzes and immersive video, light and sound shows, with an exclusive 50% discount on ticket purchases for members of the Piaget community.
