And it is intended for directors, executives, managers, and professionals from football federations, national associations, leagues, and clubs, as well as all those interested in assuming functions in the financial and strategic areas within their organizations.
Rui Padrão highlights: “At Porto Business School we try to anticipate the areas of interest of students who come to us. This program, oriented towards the football business, was a very logical step for us, given the complexity behind the scenes of the most popular sport in the world.”
Rui Couto Viana adds “from this moment on, we will be able to provide participants with the financial tools, economic organization, and strategic processes of a football club, which will allow each of them to be able to assess risks and potential results – from a decision perspective conscious and sustained.”
André Seabra underlines “the Portuguese Football Federation, through the Portugal Football School, has as one of its objectives the qualification of sports agents with responsibility for the development of Football in Portugal. The challenge launched by Porto Business School to associate ourselves with executive training in Finance and Strategy naturally responds to this purpose. In addition to being a collaboration that honors us, there are other aspects that justify it. On the one hand, it will provide participants with the knowledge and financial tools for a better performance of sports organizations. On the other hand, the study plan, superiorly designed and adjusted to the proposed objectives, and the excellent faculty are two great assets.”
