Porto Com Tudo opens in Bolhão to affirm the versatility of Port wine

It’s called Porto Com Tudo, a clear indication of where it’s coming from. It is a bar and a store at the same time and allows you to discover (and obviously taste) the most diverse pairings with Port wine.

A new bar has just opened on Rua de Alexandre Braga, outside Mercado do Bolhão. It’s Porto Com Tudo and offers a series of pairings based on Port wine and snacks. The objective is to show the flexibility of Port wine.

“Gone are the days when Port wine was only drunk at Christmas and Easter and only after meals. Port wine is a celebratory drink, it’s true, but there are certainly reasons to celebrate every day of our lives. Furthermore, there are several types and categories of Port and this drink offers us a world of new possibilities, which we want to make known”, assures Adrian Bridge, owner of the emblematic Taylor’s, Croft and Fonseca.

In this sense, Porto Com Tudo presents a series of pairing proposals that show the versatility of Port wine, namely with Vinte Vinte Chocolate, Cheese, Ham and Traditional Bôlas (sausages, cod and vegetarian), among other perfect combinations for any time of the day.

Those who prefer can also opt for a Port Tonic or choose from the careful selection of Portuguese wines from different regions.

“The location in Bolhão, in the heart of Porto’s historic centre, reinforces the intrinsic connection between Port wine and the city. If we believe that a visit to Vila Nova de Gaia is mandatory, we also know that Port wine is a heritage and emblem of the entire region. I would say the whole country,” adds Adrian Bridge.

Porto Com Tudo is open every day, from 11 am to 7 pm. The space, sophisticated but welcoming, also has a very attractive terrace.
