Manuel Turizo Zapata, a Colombian singer, songwriter, and music producer, has become one of the biggest stars of the new generation of urban and pop Latin music. He is often known by his pseudonym MTZ.

A baritone with a deep and smooth voice, which sets him apart from many artists in the urban genre, he encompasses various styles, from Reggaeton/Latin Pop, Bachata (a traditional Dominican genre), Trap and R&B, and even Vallenato (a traditional Colombian genre).
The romanticism of his lyrics, his Colombian accent, his energy, and his peculiar tone are some of the characteristics that win over his fans.

Sony Music has recognised Manuel Turizo’s work in the industry, awarding him double platinum digital certification for his single “Esperándote“. His first album – DNA – was released in 2019 and featured collaborations with renowned names in the music world, such as Ozuna and Nicky Jam.
