Portucalense analyzes fraud and corruption during the pandemic
The next 9th of October will give rise to an online seminar on fraud and corruption, with the speaker Óscar Afonso, President of the Observatory of Economics and Fraud Management.
Starting at 11 am, the webinar at Universidade Portucalense will address the consequences for the unregistered economy and ways of prevention, in this current pandemic context. In the seminar, some explanatory factors of fraud and corruption will be presented, detailing the dimension known with data from the CPC.
The relationship between the State, conflicts of interest, fraud and corruption, as well as the control of fraud and corruption in organizations will then be discussed.
The second part addresses the effects of the pandemic, discussing fraud and corruption in the context of Covid 19, as well as prevention in the context that currently exists. Finally, the associated consequences will also be mentioned in this process, with an impact on the unregistered economy.
