Portugal beats Russia and wins the European League in beach soccer

An epic twist has allowed Portugal to become champions in the European Beach Soccer League. After being losing by 0-2 against Russia in the sand of Figueira da Foz, the team set the final result at 4-2.

Leo Martins, Rui Coimbra, Belchior, and Bê Martins scored the goals that crowned Portugal as European beach soccer champion.

It is recalled that before reaching this final, Portugal defeated champions Italy 8-6 on Saturday.

This is thus the sixth European title for the Portuguese team, which had already won the competition in 2002, 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2015.
