Portugal continues preparation for League of Nations with morning training

The Portuguese football team continues today to prepare to participate in the final phase of the League of Nations with another training in the City of Soccer, in Oeiras, the first during the morning.

After three training sessions in the afternoon, Portugal will work for the first time in the morning, with a session scheduled for 10:30, with the first 15 minutes to be open to the media.

On Wednesday, national team contender Fernando Santos counted for the first time with all 23 players called, including captain Cristiano Ronaldo.

Before the game, at 10:00 a player still to be named will speak to reporters at a press conference, also in Soccer City.

The first week of work will be done in an open regime, with players only being forced to attend in training, with the concentration for internship scheduled for Sunday.

Portugal, European title-holders, meet Switzerland in the semi-finals of the League of Nations on June 5 at Estádio do Dragão in Porto, starting at 19:45. A day later, England and the Netherlands compete for the other semi-final, at Estádio D. Afonso Henriques, in Guimarães, also at 19:45.

The winners will compete in the final of the first edition of the League of Nations on June 9 at Estádio do Dragão, in a meeting starting at 19:45, while losers decide on the same day to award the third and fourth places in the D Stadium Afonso Henriques, at 3:00 p.m.
