‘Portugal dos Pequenitos’ in Coimbra reopens on Friday
As of Friday, the doors reopen with better visiting conditions, as a result of the improvement of the infrastructure network and landscape rehabilitation interventions.
Noteworthy are the renovated square at the time of entry, which used irregular cut stone reused from the old pavements, and the way back from Novo Portugal dos Pequenitos, in honor of the mentor of Portugal do Pequenitos. The exhibition “Materials and masters” will be inaugurated, divided into four modules distributed throughout the park, a proposal that, until October, shows the mastery and creative genius with which the architect Cassiano Branco executed it.
Marking the 81st anniversary of the ludic-pedagogical park, during the month of June visitors will be offered a voucher for the app that allows a guided tour, revealing 140 points of interest.
