The Portuguese under-17 football team won by an expressive 5-0 against Kazakhstan, at Estádio Algarve, in a game of the first qualifying phase for the European level.
Portugal received and won the first matchday of Group 11, the Portuguese team started to win after just 3 minutes with an own goal by Bakhtishat Abdullayev, who would score again in his own goal after 40 minutes.
In the second half, Portugal scored the goals, Guilherme Santos at 47, José Rodrigues at 49 and João Veloso at 58, with a penalty.
Portugal will now play against Wales on November 13th and Ukraine on November 16th, at Estádio Algarve, the first two ranked in each group and the four best third ranked will qualify for the elite round.
