Portugal present for the first time in Rémy Martin’s international competition

Tiago Santos and the ‘Resilience’ cocktail will represent Portugal at the next edition of the Rémy Martin Bartender Talent Academy, which will take place in Cognac from October 28 to 31.

There were eight Portuguese bartenders who presented their creations in the national competition and whose final took place at the Ritz Four Seasons rooftop in Lisbon. Aimed at those who like challenges, lovers of spirits and those who have talent and want to share it, this Rémy Martin initiative, which first arrived in Portugal, recognizes that bartenders are storytellers, artists, chefs. And is to explore and celebrate each of these strands that is intended with this competition.

The first phase decided who will represent Portugal in Cognac, an experience that includes an exclusive program with the opportunity to showcase creative communication and bartending talents.

The cocktail ‘Resilience’, created by Tiago Santos, which is inspired by the competitor’s family resilience story, will represent, for the first time, our country in this prestigious competition that already has six editions and has already participated 22 countries.

The big event in France will elect the best bartender in the world to work with brandy, who will receive, in addition to the prestige this title brings, a monetary prize.
