Portugal qualifies for the semifinals of K4 500m
Emanuel Silva, João Ribeiro, Messias Baptista and David Varela, qualified this morning for the 500m semi-finals at the Olympic Games, after being fourth in the quarters.
The quartet completed the race in 1,24.325 minutes, behind series winner Hungary, Belarus, and China.
The semi-finals take place on Saturday.
