The Portuguese futsal team will play Serbia in the round of 16 at the World Cup.
Serbia is one of the top four, third in the group stage, after beating the United States 7-0 in a Group F game, following defeats by Iran 3-2 and Argentina, current champions, by 4-2.
Portugal, current European champions, won Group C, finished the group with seven points, with two victories over Thailand 4-1 and the Solomon Islands 7-0, and a three-ball draw with Morocco.
The round of 16 game between Portugal and Serbia is scheduled for Friday, at 18:00 in Lisbon, at Zalgirio Arena, in Kaunas, Lithuania, the winner of the match will play the quarters with the winner of Spain – Czech Republic.
