Portugal wins over Czechs in the start of the European race

The Portuguese women’s futsal team took the lead today in Group 4 of qualifying for the first edition of the European Championship, beating the Czech Republic 12-0 in Oliveira de Azeméis.

Portugal, who already won 4-0 at the break, had three goals from Lidia Moreira and two from Janice and Sara Ferreira.

In the Group 4 standings, which only qualify for the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, Portugal add up to three points from Finland, who beat Serbia 8-2 in the opening game.
