Portugal’s Paralympic Committee film wins award in New York

Persistência” is the name of the film made by Davide Barros and produced by the Paralympic Committee of Portugal, which wins the prize for Best Director in Super Short Film of the month of October at the international festival New York Film Awards, in the USA.

The film is starring Paralympic swimmer David Grachat and trainer Carlos Mota and portrays the resilience and perseverance of athletes in a high-performance daily routine in which there is no place to give it up, to weaken or to doubt, if the goal is sports success.

In this super-short, David Grachat and Carlos Mota personify the daily struggle of all those who dream of being at the highest level, in this specific case, at the Tokyo Paralympic Games, in 2021, and, we would add, at the highest sporting level to overcome and represent Portugal among the best in the world.
