These super yummy Portuguese Custard tarts (Pastel de Nada) are easier to make than you expect.
I likened it to making mini custard pies.

- This recipe makes 18 tarts
- One sheet puff pastry dough
- 3 cups (710 ML) milk
- 7 egg yolks
- 1 1/4 cups (280 g) sugar
- 4 tbsp plain flour
- 1/2 a lemon peel
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp salt
- Cinnamon powder – for garnish
- Bake at 425 Fahrenheit (218 Celsius) for 30 minutes
