Portuguese distinguished at Tokyo International Photography Prize

Two Portuguese residing in Macau were distinguished at the Tokyo International Photography Prize, highlighting the two (silver) prizes won by João Miguel Barros.

The Portuguese guaranteed, in addition to two honorable mentions with the ‘Jamestown‘ project, two ‘silver’ awards (silver) for the work ‘Akuapem‘, in so many other categories: Editorial/Sports and Editorial/Photo Essay.

Another Portuguese man, Gonçalo Lobo Pinheiro, also received two honorable mentions for his photo report on nursing homes in Macau during the covid-19 pandemic.
