Portuguese Federation of Electronic Sports announces esports incubator

The Portuguese Federation of Electronic Sports (FPDE) launches an incubation program for the Portuguese Esports ecosystem, called FPDE Esports Incubator, fully managed by FPDE in collaboration with national and international partners, with the aim of supporting the development of projects presented by members of the FPDE.

The development of Electronic Sport in Portugal involves the professionalization of all its players. FPDE is at the forefront of this development and is taking another concrete step to support Athletes, Teams, Clubs and other organizations ”says Reinaldo Ferreira, Vice President of FPDE and program coordinator. “This program will present several actions with different objectives, involving partnerships with national and international entities“, he adds. “Internationalization will be one of the most common scenarios in this program,” explained Reinaldo Ferreira, “so we opted for the internationally recognized designation, in English, without complexes or pretentiousness“.

The program currently has two actions. The first, called “Go Club”, is aimed at Portuguese teams that want to take a step in its constitution as a Club and provides support in the form of mentoring and legal and legal services, at no cost to the participating teams. The second, called “Go Global”, is aimed at companies (Clubs or other organizations) that want to start or reinforce the internationalization of their activity and provides training and consultancy for a period of one year, also at no cost to the participants. All details and eligibility criteria can be found on the FPDE website.

In the future, FPDE Esports Incubator will present new actions aimed at all stakeholders in the ecosystem. Interested parties can subscribe to the FPDE newsletter on their website or send their expression of interest or suggestions to the email.
