Portuguese Octopus Salad

Octopus Salad is a very famous Portuguese appetizer dish. I am using Portuguese Octopus, but you can use another type if you find it difficult to find. I’m going to make a big batch to take to my friend’s birthday party. You can make a small portion by adapting this recipe. Try it, you’ll love it!

Preparation time 2 hours for a large portion

Serves 20 people as a snack

Preparation
3kg of Powder (2 Powders 1.3kg and 1.7kg)
3 tablespoons of vinegar

Aromatic Ingredients for Making Dust (For 1 Dust)
2 pieces of carrot
½ Onion
2 bay leaves
A hand of garlic
A hand of Coriander
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 bark of Lima
3 Cravinhos
½ teaspoon whole black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
Water sufficient to cover the dust

Seasoning Ingredients for Salad
150 grams of dried tomatoes in small cubes
2 Medium-sized red onion in small cubes
1 Red pepper diced
1 handful of Coriander
150 ml of Olive Oil
Salt to your taste
Black pepper to your taste
4 tablespoons lemon juice or vinegar
