‘Meine Liebe’, an experimental documentary by Clara Jost on the life cycle of a small tomato, competes for the award for Best European Short Film.
‘Meine Liebe’ had its world premiere last year, at IndieLisboa, where it was distinguished with the prize for best short film of the national competition.
In October, Clara Jost’s short film was part of the official competition at the New Film Festival in Montreal, Canada, in the competition for first works.
In November, ‘Meine Liebe’ was on the schedule for the 62nd Zinebi – International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Bilbao, Spain.
Premiers Plans is a festival that aims to give visibility to promising young European filmmakers, Clara Jost is part of a new generation of filmmakers who have just left the School of Cinema, like Duarte Coimbra or David Pinheiro Vicente, among others, who have achieved prestigious selections at international film festivals.
