Portuguese startups can now enroll in Abanca’s entrepreneurship program

Abanca opened the registration period for the fourth edition of the entrepreneurship and innovation program through which it intends to promote the start-up and development of new technology-based business projects.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he most recent Abanca Innova StartUp maintains the approach of its three previous editions, that is, accompanying entrepreneurs in the process of developing their idea through an extensive training program that will culminate in a pilot project that will validate their business model.

The program is aimed at start-ups in the fintech, insurtech, regtech and cybersecurity sectors.

The proposals will be subsequently analyzed and then 6 to 8 projects will be chosen to integrate the program. The startups will be evaluated by those responsible for the different business units of Abanca from four perspectives: technology, business, innovation and investment.

The first activity in which the selected startups will participate will be a bootcamp that will take place between the 26th and 30th of October and, this year, exceptionally, will be carried out remotely.

Throughout the process of developing their ideas, startups will be able to enjoy a set of benefits that include the use of coworking spaces at Abanca Innova facilities, the use of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud or digital marketing, communication or human resources valued at more than 150 thousand euros.
