Prime Video confirms the return of The Summer I Turned Pretty

Prime Video announces the premiere of the third and final season of the global hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty in July.

The third season of the Amazon original series will feature 11 episodes and premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world as part of the Prime subscription.

The third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty is directed by showrunners Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka. Han, Kucserka and Karen Rosenfelt serve as executive producers alongside wiip’s Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Mads Hansen. The series is a co-production between Amazon Studios and wiip.

Based on Jenny Han’s best-selling trilogy, the Prime Video series has become a cultural phenomenon, capturing the hearts of fans around the world. The first season premiered in the summer of 2022 and ranked as the streaming platform’s #1 series during its first weekend. The second season premiered in the summer of 2023 and managed to double the number of viewers of the first season in the first three days.

Jenny Han is the author of the New York Times bestselling romance novel series All the Boys I’ve Fallen in Love with and The Summer I Fell in Love. His books have been published in more than 30 languages. For television, she created two series based on her novels: The Summer I Fell in Love for Prime Video, of which she is executive producer and co-showrunner, and XO, Kitty for Netflix, a spin-off of the All the Boys universe, also as executive producer. In the feature film field, she was an executive producer on all three films in Netflix’s hit trilogy, All the Boys.
