Prime Video premieres the third and final season of Operação Maré Negra today

New trailer for the series starring Jorge López, Jorge López, Lúcia Moniz and Pêpe Rapazote now available

Prime Video today reveals the trailer for the third and final season of the hit series Operation Dark Tide, which premieres exclusively this Friday, February 9th.

Actress Mina El Hammani joined the cast in the last season, together with Soraia Chaves, who shone in season 2, and Lúcia Moniz, who returns as Inspector Carmo, from the first season. The final season of Operação Maré Negra will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Portugal, Spain and Brazil, as part of the Prime subscription.

Amazon Prime subscribers in Portugal can enjoy offers, free shipping and entertainment, all in the same subscription for just €4.99 per month or €49.90 per year.

The third season of Operação Maré Negra stars Jorge López (Elite) in the role of Nando, Oscar Jaenada (Hernán), Bruno Gagliasso (Marighella), Pêpê Rapazote (Narcos), Soraia Chaves (Sequia), Diego Anido (As Beasts), Luis Zahera (The Beasts), Daniel Ibañez (The Laws of the Border), Miguel de Lira (Vivir sin permiso), Patricia Vico (Hasta el cielo) and Belén López (White Lines), among others. Joining the cast of the final season are Mina El Hammani (Elite), Dani Pérez Prada (El Pueblo) and Felipe Pirazán (Tratamos loja bien a las mujeres). Furthermore, the renowned Portuguese actress Lúcia Moniz (Love Actually) will return to the cast, after playing the role of Inspector Carmo in the first season.

The disappearance of an important shipment of fentanyl puts Fernando Barreira, now the most popular intermediary between America and Europe, in the worst situation: having to answer to both parties. From here, Nando has a mission against the clock, to recover lost credit with those who trusted him, as well as to escape the police who have been following the trail for months. A suicide mission where preserving prestige and freedom is the least important thing. The most important thing is to stay alive.

The next season of Operação Maré Negra will feature five 45-minute episodes, produced by Ficción Producciones (Operação Maré Negra T1 and T2, 3 Caminos) with Mamen Quintas and Julio Casal in the role of executive producers in conjunction with autonomous televisions Spanish broadcasters, RTP, in Portugal, and executive produced by Pandora da Cunha and Pablo Iraola da Ukbar. The directing team will continue to be led by Igor Legarrata and Oskar Santos. The scriptwriting team for the third season will be made up of Asier Guerricaechebarria and Javier Echániz.
