Prime Video unveils the teaser trailer for the original Wilderness series, accompanied by Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (Taylor’s Version), which will also serve as the opening theme to the thriller series. The re-recorded track from the Reputation album makes its world premiere in the teaser. Wilderness will premiere worldwide on Prime Video on September 15th.
The defiant song “Look What You Made Me Do” (Taylor’s Version) reflects Liv’s (Jenna Coleman) transformation after her supposed “happily ever after” turns into a nightmare when she discovers that her husband Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen ) is having an affair.
Liv becomes responsible for Will’s nightmares after learning of his infidelity, and the grudge is quickly followed by another emotion: fury. So the couple embarks on a road trip across America that Liv has fantasized about since she was a child, from the Grand Canyon, through Yosemite, and culminating in a hedonistic weekend in Las Vegas to shake off the dust and sweat. While for Will the trip becomes an opportunity to make amends, for Liv, the perspective is quite different: an itinerary where accidents happen all the time. A perfect place for revenge… Look what you made me do… “Look What You Made Me Do”.
Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (Taylor’s Version) is the latest addition to the female-led psychological thriller Wilderness. Wilderness was conceived by Marnie Dickens, based on the novel by B.E. Jones, directed by So Yong Kim and executive produced by Elizabeth Kilgarriff.
