Prime Video reveals the trailer for Reina Roja
Reina Roja will premiere on February 29th in more than 240 countries and territories around the world
Directed by Koldo Serra and starring Vicky Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian, the seven-episode series features Andrea Trepat, Celia Freijeiro, Alex Brendemühl, Nacho Fresneda, Emma Suárez and Eduardo Noriega, among others.
Prime Video today reveals the official trailer for the long-awaited original series Reina Roja, where we can see this adapted universe for the first time, and many of the elements and references to the original book, in addition to the presence of Vicky Luengo and Hovik Keuchkerian in the roles of Antonia and Jon. Reina Roja will be available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of the Prime subscription.

The adaptation of the first book in the successful trilogy by Juan Gómez-Jurado (Reina Roja, Loba Negra, Rey Blanco) has seven episodes starring Vicky Luengo (Antidisturbios, Historias para no dormi) and Hovik Keuchkerian (A casa de papel, Antidisturbios). Koldo Serra (Sin huellas, La casa de papel) is the main director, together with Julian de Tavira (Hernán), responsible for episodes 4 and 6.

When the son of a powerful tycoon is found grotesquely murdered in her mansion and the daughter of Spain’s richest man is kidnapped, the Reina Roja organization is set in motion. Mentor, Antonia’s former boss, turns to Jon Gutiérrez, a temperamental Basque police officer about to be kicked out of the force, to revive Antonia. The cat-and-mouse game that Jon and Antonia engage in during the investigation will also help them discover that they admire and complement each other almost as much as they annoy each other. Reina Roja is a disturbing and different thriller, in which the city of Madrid is just another protagonist, and which combines the urgency and action of the investigation with the explosive and witty chemistry of its two protagonists.
Reina Roja is produced by Dopamine and Focus, with Amaya Muruzábal as showrunner and executive producer. The script is written by Salvador Perpiñá and Muruzábal herself.
