Prime Video reveals the trailer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare

The film, based on documents declassified from the British War Ministry and inspired by real events, will be released on Prime Video on July 25 in Portugal and in selected countries.

Prime Video unveils the trailer for The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare and invites viewers to take advantage of director Guy Ritchie’s latest hit. The action comedy film, inspired by the first special forces operation in history, will delight the public with the premiere on July 25 in Portugal and selected countries as part of the Prime subscription.

Based on recently declassified British War Ministry documents inspired by actual events, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is an action-comedy film that tells the story of the first special forces organization created during World War II by British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of army officers, including writer Ian Fleming. This top-secret combat unit, composed of a group of rebels and rebels, participates in a daring mission against the Nazis, using only unconventional and cavalier combat tactics. Still, the bold strategy changed the course of the war and laid the foundation for the British SAS and the modern secret operational war.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is directed and co-produced by Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, The Gentleman, A Furious Man), produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Top Gun: Maverick, Pirates of the Caribbean), Ritchie, Chad Kinsoman, Ivan Aton and John Friedberg. The film is written by Guy Ritchie, Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson and Arash Amel, based on the book by Damien Lewis.

The film stars Henry Cavill (Man of Steel, Mission Impossible – Fallout), Eiza González (Baby Driver), Alan Ritchson (Reacher), Alex Pettyfer (In Time), Hero Fiennes Tiffin (Saga After), Babolus Samokun Dune (After Universe) (Bastards Without Law), with Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) and Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride).
