Prime Video reveals the trailer and poster for the original film My Spy: The Eternal City

The film starring Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman will premiere on July 18, 2024.

Prime Video today reveals the trailer for My Spy: The Eternal City, the sequel to the 2020 film, which reunites Dave Bautista and Chloe Coleman. In addition, it also shares the official poster and the first images of the family adventure film that takes place in one of the most historic European cities. My Spy: The Eternal City will be available in more than 240 countries and territories around the world as part of a Prime subscription.

When Sophie’s (Chloe Coleman) school choir is selected to go on a tour in Italy that will end with a performance for the Pope at the Vatican, JJ (Dave Bautista) sees an opportunity to improve his relationship with his new stepdaughter and offers her volunteer to accompany the group through the canals of Venice, on the famous bridges in Florence and in the most historic places in Rome. Instead, he discovers that he and Sophie have unwittingly become pawns in a terrorist conspiracy that could end the world as we know it.

My Spy: The Eternal is directed and produced by Pete Segal along with Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Robert Simonds, Gigi Pritzker, Dave Bautista and Jonathan Meisner. The film is written by Segal, Erich Hoeber and Jon Hoeber. Actors Ken Jeong and Kristen Schaal return to their roles, and names such as Anna Faris, Craig Robinson, Flula Borg, Billy Barratt and Taeho K join the cast.
