Prime Video reveals first images of Margarida Corceiro
on the set of the second season of the series Citas Barcelona
Margarida Corceiro will join the cast that includes renowned Spanish actors and actresses such as Leonor Wailing, Verónica Echegui, Anna Castillo, Óscar Casas, Yolanda Ramos and Fran Perea.
Prime Video reveals the first images of Margarida Corceiro (Morangos com Açúcar) on the set of the second season of Citas Barcelona in the popular city. The series will continue with the theme of the first season, where the characters meet face to face after meeting on the internet, looking for love, sex or simply someone to not feel alone. Citas Barcelona is produced by Filmax and will debut exclusively on Prime Video in 2024.
One of the main values that distinguish Citas Barcelona is the variety and quality of its cast. This season will be starred by names such as Margarida Corceiro, Joan Solé, Bruna Cusí, Anna Castillo, Ricardo Gómez, Elisabet Casanovas, Asia Ortega, Yolanda Ramos, Betsy Túrnez, Mara Jiménez, Arnau Puig, Emma Arquillué, Alfons Nieto, Aina Clotet, Aitor Luna, Jorge Suquet, Adrián Lastra, Natalia Tena, Tomy Aguilera, Lola Rodríguez, Óscar Casas, Leonor Watling, Asier Etxeandia, Verónica Echegui and Fran Perea.
The series chronicles encounters between strangers, stories about what happens when technology disappears and the only thing that remains are two people with their own needs and contradictions. The first meeting, when fears, secrets and expectations come into play, is one of the main elements of the script of Citas Barcelona where, in a very urban setting, each chapter will tell the story of two meetings. Throughout the season, the characters mix and intertwine, crossing some of the stories and giving an elegant, natural and fun look at current couples’ relationships, their diversity and complexity.
The second season of Citas Barcelona will have six episodes and will be produced by Filmax, Citas La Serie, AIE, with the participation of Prime Video and 3Cat. Eric Navarro and Pau Freixas return to the project as executive producers and the series is directed by Nely Reguera, Gemma Ferraté, Paco Caballero, David Selvas and Eric Navarro himself, who also appears as a screenwriter together with Dani González, Clara Esparrach and Iván Mercadé.
