Prime Video announced today during the Amazon presentation that it will premiere Federer: Twelve Final Days on June 20 and revealed a teaser trailer for the documentary that follows the last 12 days of the tennis icon’s professional career. The documentary will be available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide as part of a Prime subscription.

Amazon Prime subscribers in Portugal can enjoy offers, free shipping and entertainment, all in the same subscription for just €4.99 per month or €49.90 per year.

Directed by Oscar winner Asif Kapadia and co-director Joe Sabia, the documentary takes an intimate look at the last 12 days of Roger Federer’s successful career. Originally conceived as a home video that was not intended for public distribution, the feature film captures Federer at his most vulnerable and sincere, as he bids farewell to a sport and the fans that shaped his life for two decades. Accompanied by interviews with legendary rivals who are close friends, such as Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray, Federer offers unprecedented access into the relationship between these unparalleled stars.

Presented by Prime Video, this untitled documentary about Roger Federer is produced by Lafacadia Productions. The feature film is produced by Asif Kapadia and George Chignell, and directed by Kapadia and Joe Sabia.
