Prime Video reveals the teaser trailer and new images of Citas Barcelona. The series directed by Pau Freixas and produced by Filmax will premiere all episodes on June 13 on Prime Video in Spain and Portugal.
In Citas Barcelona, the characters meet in person after meeting on the internet; they are looking for love, sex, or simply someone to keep them away from loneliness. The format is also a romantic encounter with Barcelona, with spectators visiting the most iconic places in the city such as the Sagrada Familia, the port, or the Ramblas, also portraying everyday life in Barcelona showing other lesser-known places.

The series chronicles encounters between strangers, stories about what happens when technology disappears and the only thing left is two people with their own needs and contradictions. The production portrays the first encounter, when fears, secrets, and expectations come into play, which will be one of the main elements of the script of Citas Barcelona where, in a very urban setting, each chapter will narrate the story of two encounters. Throughout the season, the characters mix and intertwine, crossing some of the stories and giving an elegant, natural, and fun look at the relationships of current couples, their diversity, and their complexity.
Citas Barcelona is a six-episode production combining Spanish and Catalan, produced by Filmax eCitas La Serie, AIE, with the participation of Prime Video and TV3. Pau Freixas and Èric Navarro are the executive producers and the series is directed by Pau Freixas, David Selvas, Paco Caballero, Patricia Font, and Carles Torrens.
