About The Wheel of Time

The teaser for the third season of Wheel of Time reveals a changing world, where the roots of the Shadow have settled and the battle between Light and Darkness has become so important that Moiraine (the protagonist played by Rosamund Pike) and Egwene will stop at nothing to not lose Rand to the darkness.

The series is based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling novel saga, The Wheel of Time, in which a humble young farmer, Rand al’Thor, discovers that he is The Reborn Dragon, a dangerous figure in history destined to save the world… or destroy it. The wheel of time turns and the Last Battle approaches.

At the end of season two, after defeating Ishmael, Rand meets up with his friends in Falme and is named The Reborn Dragon. But in season three, the threats to the Light multiply: the Dark Tower is divided, the Black Ajah is free, old enemies return to Two Rivers and the remaining Renegades chase the dragon… including Lanfear, whose relationship with Rand will involve a crucial choice between the Light and the Dark for both of them. As the bonds with his past begin to develop and his corrupted powers become stronger, Rand becomes increasingly unrecognizable to his closest allies, Moiraine and Egwene. These powerful women, who started the series as a teacher and students, must work together to prevent the dragon from turning into the Darkness… no matter what.
