Prime Video will premiere the second season of Morangos com Açúcar on January 1st
Prime Video and TVI today reveal the premiere date and new trailer for the second season of Morangos com Açúcar.
The premiere of the new episodes will happen again simultaneously on Prime Video and TVI on January 1st. The ten new episodes of the second season will all be available on the same day on Prime Video and will premiere weekly on TVI. The third season will arrive before the summer of 2024. Amazon Prime subscribers in Portugal can enjoy offers, free shipping and entertainment, all in the same subscription for just €4.99 per month or €49.90 per year.
The new season once again features Madalena Aragão (Quer o Destino), Vicente Gil (Glória), Margarida Corceiro (Quero é Viver), Tomás Taborda (Vanda), Cláudio de Castro (Prisoneira), Beatriz Frazão (Para Semper), Rui Pedro Silva (Remains of the Wind), António Van Zeller (Flower Without Time), Catarina de Carvalho (Mirror of Life), Oskar de la Fuente (Tú no eres especial), Victoria Oliver (La Ruta), Simão Fumega ( Por Ti) and Gonçalo Braga (Inspector Max), as well as talents from the public casting, Ana Andrade, Cíntia Semedo, Mafalda Peres, Rita Guerner and Rita Sanchez.
From the original cast, Rita Pereira (A Herdeira), Pedro Teixeira (Irregular), Tiago Castro (Fascínios), Vítor Fonseca (Doida por Ti) and Sara Barradas (Quer o Destino) return to their original roles. The series also features Fernanda Serrano (Quero é Viver), Graciano Dias (Os Maias: Scenes from Romantic Life), Sérgio Praia (Variações), Carla Maciel (Diamantino) and Beatriz Godinho (Cuba Libre).
The series joins Prime Video’s growing catalogue of Portuguese content, which includes series such as Operação Maré Negra, Pôr do Sol, O Clube, PRAXX or documentaries such as Factory of Dreams: Benfica, Eu Amo o Benfica and Quintana: Um Guerreiro Extraordinário.
