The Editory Artist Porto has just been recognized by Turismo de Portugal, I.P in the 5-star category, becoming the first Portuguese Hotel School to gather all the characteristics to ascend to the luxury segment.
With 17 rooms and located in the heart of downtown Porto, the application hotel now adds new highly personalized services, which stand out for their exclusivity and project it internationally.
After the iconic “Real e Imperial Chapelaria a Vapor” in the 19th century, the building gave way, in 1927, to the talent of students and teachers of the renowned Soares dos Reis Artistic School, an unavoidable reference in the world of arts and in the collective and affective memory of the city. City. In 2014, Sonae Capital’s Hospitality unit transforms the space into a hotel, in close articulation with the Porto Hotel and Tourism School (EHTP) – integrated into the network of Tourism Schools in Portugal -, offering a distinct experience of comfort in an authentic contemporary art gallery.
The only hotel school in the North of the country allows each guest to participate in the training plan for EHTP students, whether in the exclusive restaurant “The School by The Artist” where daily Chef Hugo Dias surprises the palate with unique gastronomic creations or in the creative bar service or room service designed for demanding globetrotters.
