On September 24th and 25th, Santa Casa Alfama presents itself, as usual, with a different poster, and the reasons for interest grow every day.
As has happened over the years, the Santa Casa Alfama’s itinerary goes back to the neighborhood’s churches, places of worship that become perfect stages for an art so often linked to feelings such as devotion, adoration and faith. This year the Church of São Miguel receives the experienced voices of Teresa Tapadas, António Pinto Basto, Ana Sofia Varela and Gonçalo Salgueiro.
The Church of Santo Estevão welcomes, once again, religious fados in the voices of Porto. Mia Moura, Carla Cortez, and António Laranjeira are invited to give voice to a careful selection of great fados, which fit into a space that is one of retreat, but also with a strong connection to fado. The three young fado singers will be accompanied by João Martins on guitar, André Teixeira on viola, and Sérgio Marque on bass. This will be another unforgettable night on the 25th of September.
