In 2021, Noites F Convida will take place between 3 and 5 September, at Largo da Sé, Vila Adentro, Faro, celebrating the spirit of the F Festival which, for the second consecutive year, has been postponed due to the ongoing pandemic.
On the opening night, on the 3rd of September, Pedro Abrunhosa invites the Orquestra Clássica do Sul for a unique concert, in which together they revisit some of the greatest classics that the musician from Porto bequeathed to national pop, such as “Não posso +”, “Socorro”, “Lua”, “Se eu fosse um dia o teu olhar”, “Para os braços da minha mãe” and some of the themes from her latest original album “Espiritual”, among many others.
The next day, Aurea, Carolina Deslandes, Marisa Liz, and Rita Redshoes invite the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve for a new interpretation of the most emblematic themes of their respective repertoires. On September 5th, for a closing party, the D.A.M.A. invite artists and friends Bárbara Bandeira, Barbara Tinoco, AGIR, IRMA, and Tainá.
There will be 3 very special nights, with opening honors always in charge of emerging artists from the Algarve, recently revealed to the country through the South Music project: Yuca & The Groove Valley on the first night, Teresa Aleixo on the second, and Fernando Leal on the last.
With a reduced capacity and respecting all the norms indicated by the General Directorate of Health (DGS), the concerts at Noites F Convida will always start at 9.30 pm. Tickets have a single price of €15.
The Noites F Convida concerts take place at Largo da Sé, which traditionally hosts the Festival F Stage, with the remaining stages and spaces of the festival, Quintalão, Museum, Ria, Fábrica, Formosa, Sé cloisters, among others, awaiting for 2022 to receive music, visual arts, workshops, new circus, theater, humor and social gatherings, in a rich and diversified program. It should be remembered that in its 6th and last edition, in 2019, Festival F, the last major summer festival, took place on the 5th, 6th and 7th of September and brought close to 60,000 people to Vila Adentro.
The media partners Rádio Comercial and TVI have, in recent years, taken the Festival F to those who cannot travel to Vila Adentro, in Faro, through permanent coverage of everything that happens during the 3 days of the biggest festival of Portuguese music. . In 2021, they will be present at the Noites F Convida, helping to keep the F Festival spirit alive.
The Noites F are an initiative of the Municipality of Faro, the Municipal Theater of Faro, S.M., Ambifaro and the production company Sons em Trânsito.
