After a one-year break, motivated by the pandemic, PA – Projeto Artístico is back next week with the Festival de Bandas, Festival da Canção (artist/cover version and original version) and Dance Festival, at Frente Ribeirinha in Barcelos.
This year, the P.A. starts with the Festival de Bandas, on July 30th, at 8:15 pm, where Demure, Nada Ético, Pink Comrades, Wave, ATR and VinteVinte participate.
The following day, July 31, at 8:15 pm, the Festival da Canção (artist version | cover) will take place, with the participation of Mariana Simões, Luana Miranda, Kika Lobo, Carla Coutinho, Margarida Ferreira, Bruno Pinho, Inês Vasques and Carolina Saldanha. For the original version, compete Lara Guimarães, Carla Eiras and Márcio Ferreira.
The Dance Festival takes place on Sunday, August 1st, at 5 pm, also on the Frente Ribeirinha, and counts with the participation of six dance schools in the municipality of Barcelos: Arca Dance Studio, Barcelos Dance School, Arts Academy Barcelos, HAD Stories of Art and Dance, Physiofitness and FlashLi Dance School. After the summer, the project continues with the Encontro de Coros at Theatro Gil Vicente, in November, and the Noite de Fados, in December.
Admission to the shows is free, however, ticket reservation is required.
The Artistic Project is an initiative of the Municipality of Barcelos, through Casa da Juventude, dedicated to education through artistic expressions and whose main objective is to create, encourage and provide the realization, revelation and appreciation of young people from Barcelona in different artistic areas .
