Municipality of Leiria will launch the Cultural Center project, with a set of cultural shows with online streaming, from areas such as theater, music, dance or singing, involving various cultural institutions in the municipality.
This bet results from the need to continue promoting culture in a pandemic context, offering an alternative to the traditional cultural spaces that are closed.
The program is presented on the Leiria Cultura page, in a set of shows that cover the city’s cultural spaces, from theaters, library, museums or galleries, on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, always starting at 9:30 pm.
The program opens on the 12th by Te-Ato – Leiria Theater Group, followed on the 13th by Orfeão de Leiria, and on the 14th by Son Latino – Companhia de Dança e Animação.
On the 19th it will be the turn of the Nariz – Group Theater, followed on the 20th by the Philharmonic Association of the Municipality of Leiria and on the 21st the International Conservatory of Ballet and Dance Annarella Sanchez.
On the 26th, 27th and 28th, the cultural offer is in charge of the Ninfas do Lis Choir, SAMP Saxophone Quartet and Clara Leão Dance School, respectively.
The program closes on the 5th, 6th and 7th of March, by Leirena Teatro – Leiria Theater Company, Young Musicians Institute and Diogo Carvalho Dance School.
